The Ministry of Energy and Minerals plays an integral role in promoting and supporting the sustainable use of mineral, energy, and fuel resources in Somaliland.
The ministry's goal is to drive socio-economic development by implementing strategic policies and projects that enable the proper utilization of these resources. To achieve this, the ministry collaborates with different parts of the government and other energy stakeholders.
Additionally, the ministry aims to attract investors and stakeholders to support the country's progress. With this approach, it's expected that the discovery of significant mineral deposits will occur, ultimately leading to lower energy costs and benefiting everyone.
